The following .exe calculates the PEG length and overall gold nanoparticle + PEG diameter given a PEG Molecular Weight and gold nanoparticle diameter. The PEG length is calculated based on the PEO unit length of 0.28 nm in water [Oesterhelt F, Rief M, Gaub HE (1999) Single molecule force spectroscopy by AFM indicates helical structure of poly(ethylene-glycol) in water.
