NanopartzTM Gold NanobeadsTM for In Vitro Diagnostics

NanopartzTM Gold NanobeadsTM are manufactured using our proprietary and patent pending method that results in exact sizes, and highly monodisperse sizes and shapes, with the added advantage of a patent pending method that includes a covalent bonded  polymer cage  with carboxyl, methyl, biotin, or neutravidin terminal groups.  This formulation has been optimized for in vitro use and provides the following benefits:

  • Stable from pH= 3 to 11

  • Storage lifetime at room temperature up to one year (accelerated  testing has shown 70 C for 2 weeks)

  • Stable in 1-2 M salt

  • Can be suspended in most solvents

  • May be concentrated to OD 5,000

  • Charge control, +, -, or neutral

 

Composition


Gold colloid with a a formulation of polymer-caged nanoparticles with methyl, carboxyl, amine, biotin or neutravidin  functional groups, optimized for in vitro use. Excess active groups are reduced to less than 0.1% the concentration of the gold nanoparticles.

Custom Formulation and Production

 

Quantity

  • Volumes of 1 mL and 5 mL, OD 50 (concentration is 50x our bare gold nanoparticles) which amounts to 50 and 250 OD-mL.

  • For larger quantities, or for orders amounting over 50 mL per annum, please contact sales for quantity pricing.

Delivery

  • Shipped sealed in low retention micro-centrifuge containers.

  • Specially formulated polymer cage.

  • All are stored in PBS buffer at pH=7.4.

  • Orders come with exact size and concentration calculation, along with a Certificate of Analysis for pH, volume, and optical density.

  • Most conjugations ship in less than 1-2 weeks.

  • All shipments are made Fed Ex Standard Overnight delivery. No shipments on Fridays.

  • Each product comes highly concentrated, 50 times greater than our regular bare gold nanoparticles.  We do this for a number of reasons detailed in our FAQz.  Further, our yield is about 50% so it takes over 100 mL of gold nanoparticles to make 1 mL of concentrated conjugated particles.
