About Us

Nanopartz is a division of Concurrent Analytical Inc. (www.concana.com).  Whereas the mission of Concurrent Analytical  is to develop its patent pending Ramanprobes technology to revolutionize point-of-care diagnostics in personal medicine, the mission of Nanopartz is to commercialize many of the technologies developed through Concurrent Analytical  that have wide ranging applications. These technologies are specifically focused on newly patent pending, patented, or proprietary technologies in nanomaterials, nanoparticles, and nanostructures.  So for instance, whereas the nanorod technology was originally developed for use in enhancing the Extrinsic Raman Label technology developed in Concurrent Analytical, nanorods have a tremendous value in photothermal cancer therapy as well.  Nanopartz horizontally markets these products to a wide range of applications.

Directed Bioflux (www.dbflux.com, coming soon), like Nanopartz is also a division of Concurrent Analytical whose purpose is to commercialize many of the technologies developed through Concurrent Analytical.  However, Directed Bioflux is specifically focused on patent pending, patented or proprietary technologies that reduce incubation times in heterogeneous immunoassays.  These technologies will reduce total assay times in ELISA, fluorescence, as well as any other diagnostic that requires a reduction in mass transport times.

For its current product line, Nanopartz utilizes patent pending and proprietary technologies developed in-house, as well as exclusive licenses to patent pending technologies developed at the University of South Carolina (USC) and Rice University.
