At 25 days following irradiation,
polymer-nanorod-injected mice showed only a minor scar and no
evidence of tumor regrowth at sites where tumors were
irradiated, while the contralateral polymer-nanorod flank and both
flanks on the saline-injected mice harbored thriving tumors.
